Maya Train – Providing Easy Access To Amazing Destinations
Not only are there several amazing destinations to visit in the Mexican Caribbean, but the Maya Train Will make it easier than ever to get to them.
Expected to be complete this year, the train will travel up and down the coast, stopping at pretty much every popular destination, including Playa del Carmen, Bacalar, and Tulum.
Furthermore, you can already take the train to several destinations throughout the Yucatan Peninsula.

Growing Connectivity For International Tourists
It’s not just getting around the Mexican Caribbean that’s easier than ever, but getting to the Mexican Caribbean as well.
Cancun Airport is the busiest hub for international tourism in the country, serving more than 12 million international travelers last year.
Just from the United States alone, there are direct flights from 41 different cities.

Tulum Airport – Another Way To Get To The Mexican Caribbean
Starting this year, tourists will have another option for getting to the Mexican Caribbean.
Tulum Airport launched operations on December 1, 2023, with domestic flight offerings from several airlines.
This year, flights will also be offered from a number of U.S. cities to the new Tulum Airport, so travelers visiting destinations near Tulum won’t have to travel from Cancun Airport.

Award Winning Hotels
In the last couple of years, a couple of hundred new hotels have opened in the Mexican Caribbean, bringing the number of hotel rooms in the region to well over 100,000.
Three of these hotels in the region were recently awarded the AAA Five Diamond Award.
