New Tourist Transportation Route Connects Riviera Maya to Costa Maya

A new public transport route has been announced connecting Riviera Maya to Costa Maya. Tourists can now move around using the newly provided Mahahual-Tulum public service route which transports individuals from one area to another through collective vans or combis.

The Costa Maya has the largest Mayan ruins and is renowned for its quaint fishing villages located throughout the area. The Riviera Maya and Costa Maya are located approximately three hours away from each other by vehicle.

The new transportation service began fully operating earlier this Tuesday and plans on running all seven days of the week. Mahahual and Tulum taxi drivers are responsible for using and managing the van service, which departs from the terminals of both destinations.

Tourists can now easily travel between the two using the newly integrated transportation system.
