Here are 5 top rated trails to check out while you’re visiting Cancun.

Botanical Garden Trail

This beginner level loop is a beautiful lush garden with cacti, palms and tropical plants and plenty of birds for birdwatching.

Avenida Huayacan

Rated for all skill levels, this beautiful trail is primarily used for road biking, running and walking.

Driving Tour of the Mayan Ruins of Coba

This moderately trafficked point-to-point driving trail offers ancient scenery all year round. Starting at the Cancun Airport, this paved route is rated moderate on a skill level. Enjoy exploring Mayan Ruins, Jungles and Cenotes of the Riviera Maya.

Cancún Zona Hotelera: RIU Cancún – RIU Palace

Take your dog on this lightly trafficked trail for a nice 5.8 km walk. Explore the streets and sidewalks of Cancun near many well known resorts.

-Dog friendly but please keep your furry friend on a leash

GR Caribe – Punta Nizuc

Rated 5 stars, this scenic trail is quick and easy for all skill levels.

-4.0km out and back trail, Estimated 1 hour walk time

-Rated easy on skill level
