3 New Hotels For 3 Different Kinds Of Travelers

Each of the new hotels coming to Tulum is unique in its offerings, providing three different types of experiences.

The Mayaliah Tulum Hotel & Residences will be a boutique-style, eco-focused property.

The JO&JOE Tulum is being designed as a more luxurious hostel-style hotel, and the Nobu Hotel Tulum, as with other Nobu properties, will be a minimalist-style luxury hotel fit for the most discerning travelers.

Mayaliah Tulum Hotel & Residences – MGallery Hotel Collection

Set to open sometime in 2024, the Mayaliah Tulum Hotel & Residences – MGallery Hotel Collection, which is part of the Ennismore family, will be a luxurious hotel surrounded by the jungle but located only minutes from the beach.

It will feature 95 residences and just 45 rooms, giving it that boutique-style design that provides travelers with a more exclusive experience.

While few details of the hotel have surfaced, it has been revealed that the hotel will have a pool, spa, and fitness center, as well as a rooftop bar and three other bars and restaurants for guests to enjoy.

JO&JOE Tulum

The luxury JO&JOE Tulum is sure to be far from your typical hostel-style hotel, though it will offer 39 dorm-style accommodations, along with 45 private rooms and suites.

Set to open at the end of 2024, Tulum’s newest addition to options will be located in the downtown area and will feature some great amenities.

Among them are 12 retail outlets, a bar, and multiple restaurants.

@dametravelerofficial Dame Traveler @jadethetraveler ・・・ TOP 5 THINGS TO DO IN TULUM ♥️Save+Share♥️ 📌1. Cenote Ik Kiln. Located about 1 hour and half away from Tulum, it is a large hole in the ground full of fresh water 💦 to take a swim in. About $5=80 pesos to enter, they have lockers for your belongings and parking. I recommend getting a waterproof phone case, my favorite is linked in my Amazon storefront! You are not allowed to jump from the top, only inside the cenote on the labeled edges. 📌2. Cenote Oxman: This cenote has a rope swing and was alot it fun! Costa 150 pesos= $7.5 USD. They do not have lockers, so if you rent a car put belongings in trunk. I recommend going early to avoid tour buses. 📌3. Beach clubs! Most beach clubs do not require a cover fee if you are eating at the restaurant. Direct beach access, lounging areas and beach chairs, and tons of instagramble spots for pictures! Most beach clubs are all on the same strip. Don’t like one, walk down the beach to another! I recommend: Mia beach club📍 Vagalume📍 📌4. Book a villa in Tulum. There are tons of affordable gorgeous villas on @airbnb in Tulum. We rented our for about $100 a night and it came with 2 bedrooms, a private pool, and a super spacious kitchen! Nobu Hotel Tulum

Nobu, a luxury hotel brand developed by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, actor Robert De Niro, and film producer and businessman Meir Teper, is a name synonymous with luxury, and the new Nobu Hotel Tulum is sure not to disappoint.

On track for a 2026 opening, the luxurious hotel will feature 200 accommodations, including 12 villas, in addition to 50 residences that will also be located on the property.

Additionally, there will be a beachfront Nobu restaurant sure to be inspired by Chef Nobu Matsuhisa himself.

Why So Many Travelers Love Tulum

Tulum is the perfect mix of beautiful Mexican Caribbean beaches and Mexican and Mayan culture.

Known for being a quieter option than Cancun, the destination has grown hugely popular for that reason.

It’s the perfect Mexican Caribbean destination to explore fascinating Mayan ruins, nature, and wellness.

@jessicaxalexis There’s so much to do in Tulum I highly recommend staying 4-5 days if you’d like to explore all that it has to offer. Things To Do In Tulum

Tulum is the only Mexican Caribbean destination that has cliffside, beachfront Mayan ruins to explore.

It’s also surrounded by other archeological sites, cenotes, beautiful beaches, and jungle land to be explored.

Most of all, though, the charming town of Tulum itself is not to be missed.

Why Getting To Tulum Is Easier Than Ever

It’s now easier than ever to visit Tulum because on December 1st the Tulum Airport was inaugurated and U.S. airlines will soon be offering flights to the new airport.

Furthermore, the inauguration of the Maya Train is just around the corner, and by early next year, tourists will be able to take the train from Cancun to Tulum.

These two projects are revolutionizing travel in the region, and the hospitality industry seems to be along for the ride.
