Royal Resorts In The Mexican Caribbean: The Best, And Coming Soon

Royal Resorts is a well-known hotel chain in the Mexican Caribbean, and for good reason. They currently have five properties in the area and will add a sixth in early 2022. The resorts are popular for their luxurious facilities, beachfront locations, and family-friendly atmosphere, and are a great option if you’re planning a vacation in this beautiful part of the world.

Read on to find out about the best of the current Royal Resorts, as well as the special new resort that’s coming soon.

The Royal Haciendas, Playa del Carmen

Situated a few minutes north of popular Playa del Carmen in the Grand Coral Golf Community is The Royal Haciendas resort. The fact this resort is rated as a top 20 hotel on Tripadvisor shows the love people have for the Royal Haciendas.

It’s a great option for golfers, who can enjoy a leisurely round at the Grand Coral course. But it’s also perfect for families with kids, as there are masses of activities to keep little ones occupied, including snorkel and kayak trips.

All rooms here are suites, accommodating from two right up to six people. You can enjoy the thoughtful touches of luxury in the Junior Suites, or upgrade to a 1,600 sq ft two-bedroom suite with a separate living area. With extra special touches, like whirlpool tubs on the terrace, and ocean views for everyone, you’ll certainly feel spoiled if you vacation here.

The Royal Sands All Suites Resort and Spa, Cancun

Located in the upper half of the Cancun Hotel Zone is the Royal Sands All Suites Resort and Spa. It’s on a beautiful stretch of beach, which you’ll have direct access to from the hotel. All the suites and rooms here have ocean-view balconies, so whatever accommodation you choose, you can enjoy the stunning views while you sip a morning coffee, or indulge in a sunset glass of wine.

Resort reviews focus on the outstanding service provided at the Royal Sands, and many guests are repeat visitors, who are won over by the location, facilities, and individual service on offer. This resort, like other Royal Resorts, isn’t All-Inclusive, but there are plenty of restaurants within a few minutes of the hotel, including Hacienda Sisal, which serves traditional Mexican food in an atmospheric setting. Or you could venture further into the city to try some of the best Cancun restaurants of 2021.

Grand Residences Riviera Cancun Resort, Puerto Morelos

The Grand Residences by Royal Resorts is one of the top-rated hotels in Puerto Morelos. An oasis of luxury, you’ll find everything you need to enjoy a get-away-from-it-all vacation in this traditional fishing village, but you’re still within easy reach of Cancun and Playa del Carmen if you want to explore.

Set on a glorious stretch of white sand beach perfect for taking a dip, the resort also has four pools to choose from, a gym, fantastic spa facilities, and kids and teens clubs. The smallest suite here is a sizeable 600 sq ft, and the largest is almost 9,000 sq ft – each decorated in classically opulent style, with wood and textiles making you feel relaxed and comfortable.

All in all, this is a fantastic place for a family vacation where you want to make sure everyone is having fun with a capital ‘F’!

Royal Uno All-Inclusive Resort and Spa, Cancun

A new Royal Resort coming to Cancun in February 2022 is the Royal Uno All-Inclusive Resort and Spa, which will be the first All-Inclusive resort in the chain’s portfolio. You’ll find the hotel on one of the Hotel Zone’s superb beaches, and you’ll have easy access to shopping and entertainment – if you can drag yourself away.

The new resort will offer 9 restaurants and bars, ranging from a traditional Mexican dining experience at Palotinte, Italian family food at Miamare, and Asian cuisine at Aora. There are two main swimming pools, plus kids get to enjoy their own pool complete with water slides. If you’re feeling a little restless and want to take part in some activities, Royal Uno has plenty to offer, including yoga and Zumba, or why not brush up on your language skills with some Spanish classes? There’s a spa offering a range of treatments, and non-motorized water sports gear available for guests to use.

And the icing on the cake? Book now for the pre-opening promotion of 30% off, plus up to $500 of resort credit.
