Here are 5 top rated vegan friendly restaurants in the Mexican Caribbean.
Casa Tequila
This place is vibrantly decorated with both authentic Mexican décor, as well as hardworking and loving staff. They have long hours and a long tequila menu built to satisfy everyone’s needs, With vegan options like tacos al pastor and pumpkin flower crepes.

Norita
Be sure to make a reservation at Norita the next time you’re in Tulum. This 5-star restaurant serves up incredible food all day long. With coffee, smoothies and bowls for breakfast followed by specialties like an “octodog” for lunch and “sea tomato and shrimp” for dinner, Norita’s has something for everyone to enjoy. Their chef is very attuned to different dietary needs and desires and goes above and beyond in his menu’s with accommodating the vegan and gluten-free crowd.

BIO-Natural is a store front and restaurant combination well loved by the local health conscious community as well as many likeminded travelers. They have a patio where you can enjoy your breakfast or afternoon snack. Previous guests rant and rave about their hotcakes (which are decorated like a cute little bear for the kiddos!).

Vegan Planet
This place is known for being one of the best vegan restaurants in Cancun. They serve up some really cool vegan drinks which average about $2-$6 USD. And everything is in fact, vegan friendly. Their huge menu is big (like their vision) and affordable.

Funky Geisha
Rated # 4 out of over 550 restaurants in Tulum, Funky Geisha is a 5-star, Asian inspired house of deliciousness. Serving up different rice, curry and noodle dishes – this place has something for everyone’s palate. With of course, vegan friendly options. Their indoor space is full of lush vegetation with a bit more of a unique kind of bohemian style which opens up a door to have quite a magical dining experience. Maybe if you’re lucky – you’ll be there to witness a Taiko drum show. Taiko is an ancient Japanese form of percussion, which is fascinating to learn about the powerful energy involved.
