Why A Cancun All Inclusive Could Help You Avoid These 2 Rising Costs

When they’re on vacation, most travelers expect to spend a significant amount of money on things like dining and activities.

This is because prices are typically higher in most vacation destinations than in smaller, lesser-known locations.

These days, prices for everything seem to be on the rise, particularly dining and activities in Cancun, but a Cancun all-inclusive could help you avoid these two rising costs.

Read on to find out why prices are rising and how an all-inclusive can keep you from paying those higher prices.

The Rising Cost Of Dining And Activities In Cancun

According to a recent report, both restaurants and nautical tour providers in Cancun are increasing their prices due, in part, to inflation and an increase in tax rates.

Additionally, in the case of nautical tours, which include things like boat and snorkeling tours, an increase in payments to operate in protected areas has also contributed to a rise in tour costs of around 5-8 percent.

This has led to that cost being passed on to customers, as it has all over the world.

One Rate For Everything

While it may be true that all-inclusives typically run more than the traditional hotel, for many, the value is in paying one rate for everything.

All-inclusives offer exactly what it sounds like.

They include dining, drinks, entertainment, at least some activities, and even room service and an open mini bar in many of them.

This often means spending much less on your vacation.

All-Inclusives With Included Activities

Some all-inclusive resorts even include boat, snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboard tours.

Xcaret, for example, may be a little pricey, but staying at one of the Xcaret hotels includes access to all of the company’s parks in the region, as well as ferry rides to the nearby island of Isla Mujeres.

Excellence Riviera Cancun is another great option, as it includes everything from kayaking and snorkeling gear to sailing and paddle boarding in its rates.

All-Inclusives With Discounted Tours

All-inclusives that don’t include water activities or tours often will offer discounted options.

Planet Hollywood Cancun and Hard Rock Cancun are two perfect examples.

Both offer multiple tours and activities in the $100 range.

The All-Inclusive Gourmet Dining Scene

All-inclusives are truly the best way to manage spending on great dining experiences and those awesome fruity drinks that so many travelers like to enjoy on tropical vacations in places like Cancun.

The best part is that all-inclusives have come a long way in the last decade or so.

Most of them in Cancun have traded mediocre buffets for gourmet dining and well-drinks for top-shelf liquors.

The Wide Range Of Rates

As mentioned above, all-inclusives are known for being a bit pricier, but many are still quite affordable.

They range in rates pretty significantly, with some costing just a couple of hundred dollars a night but others priced as high as $1500 a night.

If you’re really looking for an affordable vacation, you can opt for one of those lower-cost all-inclusives that are still highly rated.

These are the ones that will really help you avoid these rising costs.

The Long List Of Options To Choose From

The great thing about picking an all-inclusive for your Cancun vacation is that there are so many to choose from.

There are more than 30,000 hotel rooms in Cancun, and the bulk of them are in all-inclusive resorts.

This makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for so that you can spend more time enjoying your all-inclusive and less time out spending money during your vacation.
