There are plenty of vacation destinations with all-inclusive resorts, but the Mexican Caribbean is about to get one that no other destination in the world has, an SLS all-inclusive resort.
It’s the luxury hotel brand’s first all-inclusive ever and will provide guests with an elevated luxury all-inclusive experience.
This new luxury all-inclusive will open in the Playa Mujeres area near Cancun next month.
Here’s an overview of what you can expect from this new luxury SLS property.
SLS Playa Mujeres – The Location
The new SLS Playa Mujeres is just 30 minutes from the Cancun Hotel Zone and Cancun International Airport.
It’s in the exclusive Playa Mujeres area that sits directly across from the small but stunning island of Isla Mujeres.
The privileged location of the hotel affords amazing views of the Mexican Caribbean.
The Resort Opening
SLS Playa Mujeres is scheduled to open on November 1st of this year.
Interested travelers can already book dates on the website from November 10th forward.
Room rates for non-loyalty members start at $429 for a king room for two guests.
The Resort Property
The sprawling SLS Playa Mujeres resort property is exceptional in every way.
From the stunning beach and the private marina to the lush green landscaping and the four individually unique pools, the resort property is an attraction in and of itself.
There’s also an outdoor movie theater, a splash zone, and an outdoor adventure course for families vacationing at the resort, which are just the beginning of the long list of amenities offered at the SLS Playa Mujeres.
Resort Amenities
It doesn’t stop at the amazing amenities mentioned above at the brand-new SLS Playa Mujeres, there’s plenty more for the resort to boast about.
There’s an in-house theater that features all different types of entertainment, including fire dance, cabaret, and live music shows.
There’s a sports club with top-of-the-line equipment and a 20,000 sq ft spa with 20 treatment rooms and its own “tranquility pool.
Last but not least, there is a kid’s club and teen lounge where parents can take a break during family vacations.
All-Inclusive Service
The best amenity of all at the new SLS property is the all-inclusive service, which includes dining, drinks, entertainment, and certain activities.
Guests can choose from 6 different restaurants, and there are several more coming soon, including a French-inspired restaurant, a kid’s snack truck, and an adult-only restaurant at the adult-only pool.
There’s also a 24-hour coffee bar, a cigar bar, a NY-inspired tavern, a lobby bar, a coffee and cocktail bar, and a smoothie, juice, and milkshake bar coming soon.
Additionally, the use of non-motorized watercraft and fitness classes are included.
Rooms And Suites
The SLS Playa Mujeres has both rooms and suites, including 6 different room types, which you can book here right now, and 5 different types of suites.
Some accommodations have ocean views, and others even have their own private swim-out pools.
Each is spacious and inviting, decorated with neutral tones that blend with the natural Mexican Caribbean landscape.
Some of the in-room amenities include rainfall showers, robes and slippers, and a full mini bar.
Getting To SLS Playa Mujeres
To get to the SLS Playa Mujeres, you’ll want to fly into Cancun International Airport because, as pointed out above, it’s only about a half hour away.
You can currently fly to Cancun from 41 U.S. airports.
To get from the airport to the hotel you have several options, including a taxi, shuttle, and public and private transportation.
