Tourism in the Mexican Caribbean has been exploding over the last year and with all the popularity comes the race to meet the demand from hotel companies. Hyatt is one of those companies and it will soon be adding the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya to its list of properties in the region. The new luxury adult-only all-inclusive resort is set to open on December 1st of this year and reservations can be made for on or after that date.
Currently, there is already a Hyatt Zilara in Cancun and with over 11,000 reviews on Trip Advisor, it has 4.5 stars. It too is an adult-only all-inclusive resort that features top-shelf liquors and wines and 24-hour in-room dining with the all-inclusive service. It has luxurious oceanfront suites, six restaurants, five bars, oceanfront dining, and beach butlers to serve guests throughout the day.
If past successes are any indication as to how future properties will be, then travelers visiting the Riviera Maya can expect the same attention to service and luxury from the newest Hyatt Zilara. The resort will consist of 12 different types of rooms and suites, of which there will be nearly 300 total. Each will have modern decor with the feel of a traditional hacienda and feature a bathroom that feels like a spa, and a balcony with breathtaking views.

There will be a cafe, four restaurants, and five bars and lounges on the property, and oceanfront dining will be available in multiple spaces. In addition to offering top-shelf drinks in the restaurants and bars, suites will come complete with a fully stocked minibar that is part of the all-inclusive service too. The resort will also include 24-hour room service for all guests staying on the property.
The restaurants that guests will have to choose from will range from fine dining to laid back beach vibe. Capri Grille will offer pasta and grilled dishes, Tempest is where guests can go for Asian cuisine and sushi, El Comedor is a multicultural buffet with chef-driven creations, and Social is where to go for craft cocktails. Lola Beach will feature seafood dishes with Latin flare and will have live DJs, and an even livelier atmosphere.
The all-inclusive amenities don’t stop at the accommodations and dining options at the new Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya. In fact, the amenities go beyond the walls of the resort to include a number of outdoor activities as well. Various non-motorized water and beach sports, water aerobics and yoga, an outdoor pool, and a tennis court are just a few of the activities you can enjoy on the resort property.
The Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya is located in the Playa del Carmen area on a secluded stretch of beautiful coastline. All that Playa del Carmen has to offer, including the popular 5th Avenue, is only about six miles away. Travelers who wish to visit the brand new luxury resort can fly into Cancun International Airport and drive or taxi the 29 miles to get there.
The Mexican Caribbean has no shortage of luxury all-inclusive resorts but with each new property comes new ideas and concepts as to how best to serve the customer. In a region where all-inclusive reigns supreme, resorts need to stand out from others and the Hyatt brand does that by offering elevated dining and premium wine and spirits. If this kind of luxury is what you’re looking for then the Hyatt Zilara Riviera Maya, or one of the other Hyatt brand Mexican Caribbean resorts, may be the resort for you.
