Cancun is increasingly positioning itself as a global tourism leader, with many leading international businesses in the travel and tourism space looking to secure their place in the tropical paradise.
Most recently, the SBE Hotel Group has launched the new SLS Cancun, a luxurious property that will operate in the region under the Group’s SLS brand.
Speaking on the addition, prior to its launch, SBE Hotel Group Chief Operating Officer, Chadi Farhat had stated:
“We look forward to launching this exceptional property in partnership with Related Group and Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe to bring the unmatched quality and style of the SLS name to one of the most luxurious tropical getaways in the world.”
Farhat further noted that the SLS Cancun allows guests to immerse in a new space of luxury and pleasure while being provided the fine qualities they expect from SLS’s flagship portfolio.
This is the group’s sixth property globally under the SLS brand, with additional properties under the brand to also launch in Dubai and Puerto Madero later this year.
President of Related Group, Jon Paul Pérez added:
“SLS Cancun is the result of organizations at the top of their respective industries working towards a single collective vision. This property marks the beginning of a new era for hospitality in the region and we could not be more proud to have been part of this incredible team.”
About SLS Cancun
The property boasts 45 suites with the sophisticated and elegant design of renowned Italian architect and designer, Piero Lissoni.
Amenities and features include a breathtaking 250 meters of beach, private beach club and marina, 18-hole golf course, 16 cinemas, over 100 shops and boutiques, as well as luxury spa treatments and SLS wellness services.
Guests are also offered a wide-range of dining options, including an innovative Argentine fusion cuisine inspired by prominent chef José Icardi.
In partnership with Lincoln Motor Company, guests will have access to the Lincoln House car program, in which they will be provided transportation in Lincoln Navigators to locations near the property.
In light of the pandemic, SLS Cancun will be offering Rapid COVID-19 tests on-site, with the test being free of charge to guests staying three nights or more.
As the property falls under the Accor portfolio, it will participate in the ALL Accor Live Limitless Loyalty program, in which guests may earn and redeem points during their stay at the hotel.
