If you can’t get enough of the sun and surf, this beachfront lodge is the perfect accommodation for you. Situated on the coast of Tulum directly across from the Caribbean sea, the Casa Nawal offers travellers an unforgettable stay in a cabana-style tent. The Seashell House, Isla Mujeres:
Potentially the strangest Airbnb listing in the Yucatan, the Seashell House in Isla Mujeres invites guests to relax in a huge conch-shell-themed accommodation, complete with ocean-themed bathrooms, bedrooms and outdoor areas. Up to four guests can stay at this weird and wonderful home, which is equipped with a large outdoor pool, private patio and kitchen. The house is also a short distance away from Punta Sur – a stunning ecological park with a lighthouse viewing point. Guests looking to stay at the seashell house are advised to book far in advance as this accommodation is incredibly popular.
Palmares Downtown Penthouse with Private Jacuzzi, Playa del Carmen:
For travellers looking for a luxury stay without the expensive price tag, the Palmares Downtown Penthouse is the place to go. This luxury condo in downtown Playa del Carmen is fully unfinished with modern appliances and includes a private rooftop with a jacuzzi, a shared outdoor pool and a gym. With space for up to four guests, this accommodation is best suited to travellers looking for a relaxing stay near the beach, with the added luxury and privacy of their own apartment.
