For the majority of people most of 2021 was spent in sweat pants on the couch, trying to navigate constantly changing ‘new norms’ while dreaming of running away to a tropical paradise to dance and laugh the night away.
Now that restrictions are lifting, borders and events are reopening and international tourism is becoming easier to accomplish I can say with great pleasure that my friends, it is time to finally dance together again. Here are 5 music festivals in the Riviera Maya that you and your festival buddies can check-out before 2021 ends!
Cancun Jazz Festival
Who doesn’t love a little extra soul when it comes to their music? Cancun’s upcoming jazz festival is expected to have the jazzy, soul filled vibes just like when you’re walking down the streets of New Orleans. With artists like 2 time Grammy nominated jazz blues rock saxophonist and vocalist, Mindi Abair this festival is going to be wonderful! All held in the comfort of the Hard Rock Hotel in Cancun.

Ozuna Cancun Fest 2021
This 5 day event is jam packed with multiple DJ’s and headliners that will leave your cup full and your feet tired from all the dancing!
Line-up: Ozuna, DJ Snake, Wisin, Nathy Peluso, Dimelo Flow, Myke Towers, Alex Sensation, Boza,Caleb Calloway and DJ Camilo

Electric Zoo Adventures Cancun 2021
Did somebody mention a tropical Mexican Caribbean vacation featuring Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Shipwrek and about 14 other headliners that are going to blow your freaking minds? YUP – they sure did! Electric Zoo Adventures 2021 is a 4 day event going down November 10th – 14th that music lovers and wanderlusts from near and far are looking forward to. Come on down to the Grand Oasis Cancún and dance your feelings out at one of the last big electronic events of the year.

Holy Ship! Wrecked 2021
Grab your bag, your baiting suite and your bae to get ready to get ‘shipwrecked’ this year at The Hard Rock Resort to celebrate Holy Ship! Wrecked 2021. There’s going to be over 50 artists spread out across six stages and four days (December 3rd – December 7th 2021). Get ready for enough beach front shows and pool side parties to make up for the last 20 months of jamming in your living room with your headphones.

Holidaze 2021
From Canadian Electro-Funk to progressive rock, veteran hip-hop DJ’s and bands like The Disco Biscuits who create a unique sound of their own – the Holidaze music festival of 2021 has different flavors of music for your whole circle to enjoy. From December 4th – December 8th explore all the sounds and luxuries that the Sapphire Resort & Spa has to offer.
