Tours Expected To Sell Quickly
The winter months, which are dryer and slightly cooler, are the perfect time for taking tours, particularly archeological tours, jungle tours, and boat tours.
Many of these tours sell out quickly, and that is what is expected for this winter too.
Specifically in the case of boat tours, they are expecting them to be as much as 90 percent full.

Seasonal Flights Now Available
Another great reason to book your Playa del Carmen getaway now is the fact that most seasonal flights are now available.
A number of routes, particularly from the U.S. to Cancun, which is the best airport to fly into if you’re going to Playa del Carmen, are only offered during the busy season.

Cancun Airport’s Growing Connectivity
New routes from U.S. airports and other international destinations to Cancun Airport are being added all the time.
Currently, there are direct flights available to Cancun from more than 120 airports throughout the world.
From the United States specifically, there are nonstop flights from 40 different cities.
How To Get To Playa Del Carmen
Flying into Cancun is a convenient way to get to Playa del Carmen for two main reasons:
- There are a lot of flights available, every day of the week.
- Cancun Airport is less than an hour from Playa del Carmen.
Cozumel, an island off the coast of Playa del Carmen, has an international airport too, but it offers direct flights from only 10 U.S. cities, and the ferry ride to Playa del Carmen takes as long as the ride from Cancun.
Upon arriving at Cancun Airport, you can take a taxi, private transportation, a shuttle, or a bus to Playa del Carmen and expect to pay anywhere from $20 to well over $100.
