Cancun and the surrounding Mexican Caribbean destinations have thousands of hotel rooms available for tourists seeking sun and sand.
In Cancun, these hotels are divided between several areas, and one that is slightly north of the bustling Hotel Zone offers a quiet alternative to the more frequented spot.
This area is called Costa Mujeres, and a new luxury resort, Ocean by H10 Costa Mujeres, will debut in this area north of Cancun this summer.
The H10 Brand
H10 is a Spanish hotel brand among the 10 most popular hotel companies in Spain.
Established in the 1980s, H10 now consists of three separate brands, H10 Hotels, Ocean by H10 Hotels, and The One by H10 Hotels.
The hotel brand currently has properties in more than 20 destinations and has already started expanding to the Mexican Caribbean.

Ocean By H10 Costa Mujeres Overview
Ocean by H10 Costa Mujeres is going to consist of just under 600 rooms spread out over four stories.
The massive property that the hotel complex will be situated on covers approximately 1.5 million square feet.
It will feature a pond, gardens, fountains, a water park, and three pools, as well as various sports courts and courtyards, giving guests plenty of ways to enjoy the amazing tropical weather while vacationing in the Mexican Caribbean.
Amenities At The Hotel
In addition to the hotel’s outdoor amenities, guests can step inside the resort to experience eight bars and nine restaurants.
Although current information doesn’t say that the hotel will be all-inclusive, the brand’s other hotels in the region are, so it’s likely that this one will be as well.
Other hotel amenities include a coffee shop, an ice cream parlor, a bowling alley, and a spa.

The Brand’s Presence In The Mexican Caribbean
Currently, H10 Hotels has three other all-inclusive resorts in the Mexican Caribbean, two in Playa del Carmen and one in Puerto Morelos.
Both the Ocean Coral & Turquesa in Puerto Morelos and the Ocean Riviera Paradise in Playa del Carmen have separate adult-only sections with their own pools, restaurants, and bars.
The third property, the Ocean Maya Royale, is an all-inclusive resort exclusively for adults.
