Cancun hotels are taking notice of the increasing popularity of remote working and are offering special packages aimed at maximining productivity and relaxation. The new trend is expected to grow in the future, with more people choosing the Mexican Caribbean as their next remote working holiday. Here are a few of the top picks for remote working in Cancun.

Hotels in Cancun have responded to the emerging trend by offering remote work packages that include discounts on long stays and dedicated working spaces. Cancun hotels are taking advantage of the Caribbean’s everlasting allure. Here, low prices and good service meet to create the perfect working holiday location.

According to Jseús Almaguer, the president of the Cancun, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres Hotel Association, “many hotels have implemented “work vacation” or “workation” models, which is a way of saying: work and have fun, and Cancun hotels have been creative in designing and advertising the product”. 

Marriott: Productivity in Paradise (Ritz-Carlton)

Marriott is offering a special promotion on its “productivity in paradise” package which caters to the needs of digital nomads and remote workers. The company is offering up to a 30% discount on stays of at least 7 nights for bookings before 31 July for a number of Caribbean hotels, including the Ritz-Carlton in Cancun. The package includes several amenities to make working from paradise extra productive, such as Wi-Fi, breakfast, and access to meeting rooms.
