Grupo Xcaret is opening an exciting new boutique resort – the company’s third – just south of Playacar in Playa del Carmen. The La Casa de la Playa resort launches in early December and will offer visitors an unforgettable All-Inclusive stay in this most beautiful of locations.

Adding to the hotel group’s existing portfolio of resorts and theme parks, La Casa de la Playa has a lot to live up to when it comes to quality. Read on to find out more about what you can expect from this brand new resort.

La Casa de la Playa resort

La Casa de la Playa is only for adults. It’s designed to offer a sophisticated, yet relaxed, vibe and will provide its guests with the promise of ‘All-Fun Inclusive’.

With only 63 suites, this is a boutique proposition where every detail has been thought of, making the resort a perfect vacation spot. Although the number of suites is small, the choice between different types is not. You can stay in a jungle or oceanview suite, and if you really want to spoil yourself, there’s always the presidential suite. Whichever you choose, you’ll be able to enjoy the luxury of your own private pool, plus sleek decor and natural touches.

Dining options are created by in-house chefs Martha Ortiz and Franco Maddalozzo, who manage the hotel’s four restaurants and three bars. Food is predominantly Mexican, with separate restaurants highlighting the best recipes from the north and south of the country. With a dedicated Tequileria and Mezcaleria, fans of fine liquor will also be in for a treat.

Add to that the sumptuous Muluk Spa and you’ll see there’s nothing more you could need for a relaxing, artistic, and memorable break courtesy of Grupo Xcaret.

What other resorts does Grupo Xcaret have?

●     Hotel Xcaret Arte

As reported previously by The Cancun Sun, Grupo Xcaret’s second resort, Hotel Xcaret Arte, opened this summer to much acclaim. Housing an impressive 900 suites, spread over five ‘casas’ or buildings, each with its own unique personality, this resort is aimed at guests with an eye for esthetic and artistry.

With spacious suites decorated in neutral, warm tones and nine dining options to choose from, this is a resort for people who want to feel pampered. There are also artisan workshops to participate in, from weaving to pottery to dance, as well as a fully customizable spa experience.

●     Hotel Xcaret Mexico

The first of the Xcaret group hotels, Hotel Xcaret Mexico opened its doors in December 2017. It was the first to offer the group’s All-Fun Inclusive style, which provides guests with complimentary access to all of Grupo Xcarets theme parks.

The resort is eco-friendly and sustainable and keen to showcase the beauty of Mexico in a way that does minimal damage. The 900 suites, as in Hotel Xcaret Arte, are spread across five casas, each one creating a unique atmosphere. They are decorated in clean white tones and filled with art crafted by local communities, a deliberate choice made to support and celebrate Mexican artistry. The hotel also has twelve varied restaurants and a spa where you can relax and rejuvenate.

A party park, where you can dance to live music and enjoy delicious food and an open bar.

●     Xenses

●     Xavage

This is the park for thrill-seekers, who will love driving the monster truck obstacle course and taking on the whitewater rapids in a kayak.

●     Xenotes

You can explore four stunning cenotes on this trip, where you can swim, brave the zip-lines, or maybe try your hand at kayaking.

●     Xcaret

This nature-focused park showcases everything Mexico has to offer across more than 50 different attractions.

●     Xel-ha

Water babies will love this attraction, where you can explore the underwater world by snorkeling to your heart’s delight.
