There are several things that make Cancun a popular vacation destination.
Beaches that are white sand and turquoise water perfection and luxurious, amenity-filled all-inclusives where you don’t have to lift a finger are its most significant claims to fame.
It’s also popular because it’s so easy to get to, thanks to extensive connectivity, and one low-cost airline, Viva, is further increasing that connectivity by beginning to offer flights from four more U.S. cities.

Viva Aerobus – The Company
Viva, the rebranded version of the low-cost Mexican airline Viva Aerobus, is based out of Monterrey International Airport in Mexico.
The airline is the third largest in the country and services a total of 61 routes, 41 of which are domestic.
The other 20 are international routes within four different countries.

Arriving At And Departing From Cancun Airport
Considering the extensive connectivity that Cancun International Airport has with both domestic and international destinations, it’s not surprising that it’s a really busy airport.
This is why it’s important to have all of your documents ready when you arrive and nothing in your luggage that is going to flag you and extend your arrival processing.
It’s also important to arrive early when departing. It’s recommended that you get to the airport three hours before your departure time.

Getting From Cancun Airport To The Hotel Zone
One of the most important things you can do before arriving at Cancun Airport is to have your transportation figured out.
The same goes for getting back to the airport.
You’ll want to book in advance so that you can avoid expensive taxis, know what you’re paying upfront, and have a driver waiting for you when you’re ready to head to the Hotel Zone or back to the airport for your departure.
