The Cancun-based Odigoo Travel announced this week that they’re launching a private transportation service for tourists in Cancun and the Riviera Maya. This new service will not only give travelers another option when it comes to booking transfers from the Cancun Airport, but also a ton of options when it comes to building an itinerary of amazing experiences in the region with the convenience of a private driver.
Odigoo’s ‘Open Service’ Transportation For Travelers Will Include Full Day Trips
Once launched, Odigoo’s new transportation services will offer travelers a wide range of options for planning their adventures in Cancun. Among the wide range of services, one will be the basic airport transfer to/from the Cancun International Airport with a professional and bilingual driver.
Other popular tourist services, such as private transportation to and from the nearby cities of Playa del Carmen and Tulum, will also be offered by Odigoo.
And the travel agency is taking things one step further by offering what they are calling an ‘Open Service’ option, where travelers can book private transportation starting from 4-hour time slots and up to 12 hours or more of driving services in the region. This means that travelers can book full-day trips with one of Odigoo’s professional drivers as well as their vehicle of choice for the journey.
Customers will have five different types of vehicles to choose from for trips, including minibusses, SUVs, and vans. More deluxe vehicle options will be available upon request. The bookings will also be able to accommodate up to 27 travelers at a time, making this an ideal option if you’re traveling to Cancun in a big group. Other perks include unlimited mileage, itinerary customization, as well as zero waiting time fees at the Cancun Airport.

“Open Service offers the possibility to hire a car with a private driver for a specific amount of time, starting at 4 hours and going all the way up to 12 hours (or even more if required by the customer),” Florence Sutra, CEO at Odigoo Travel, stated during this week’s announcement of the new transportation services.
“This service offers a lot of comfort and flexibility for small groups, families, and even couples who want to make the most of their limited time in the spectacular Mexican Caribbean,” she continued.
Experience The Beauty Of The Riviera Maya
Most travelers book their own private transportation for their arrival at the Cancun Airport, whether it be to have an easy transfer to their all-inclusive in the Cancun Hotel Zone or to journey onwards to explore Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, or Tulum.
Odigoo Travel’s services are another way for tourists in Cancun and the surrounding region to easily plan their vacation and curate their perfect trip in the Mexican Caribbean. Their new Open Service transportation means that you can plan a visit to your favorite cenotes near Playa del Carmen and Tulum and even adventure further to the Si’an Kaan Biosphere and Akumal for the day during your Cancun vacation.

Why would anyone go with private drivers and cars? You have ADO bus cheap and very comfortable. No need for those private cars to charge you hundreds of dollars when you can literally pay $5 Cancun to Puerto Morelos with ADO or PlayaExpress with $3. Mexico has no clue how to make business and it will be their downfall. No other country in the world will charge PEOPLE more just because they are GRINGOS!!!! WTH??? And most people all they see when they look at you is an ATM.
