The day has finally arrived where Nickelodeon Hotel & Resort in the Riviera Maya has opened after months of delays due to the pandemic. On August 1st 2021, SpongeBob and friends welcomed their first guests with open arms. Here are some of the many exciting things you can expect to enjoy at this massive themed resort.
Meet Your Favorite Character
Probably one of the coolest things about staying here would be seeing your kids’ faces light up when they finally get to meet some of their all time favourite Nickelodeon characters. At this resort you never know when you’ll run into characters like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sponebob, Dora, Blue and many more!

Aqua Nick Waterpark
North-America’s first ever ‘Aqua Nick’ water park is here to bring you and your family a unique and thrilling experience. Get ‘Slimed’ with the whole family, chill-out floating down the lazy river or conquer one (or all) of their 21 water slides. The Aqua Nick water park is sprawled out across six-acres and is surrounded by lush gardens and features 4 food kiosks, 1 restaurant, 1 bar, 2 rivers, 1 activity pool and 21 aqua nick slides.
*The park also features bracelets you can load with funds to cover any transactions throughout your stay
Butler Services
In-suite Butlers that can arrange different private luxury experiences from things like a moonlight beach dinner or daily afternoon tea. Perhaps you would like to have a luxury aromatherapy bath run for you, preferred access to the restaurants and spa – or even just a glass of wine and one of your favorite magazines.

The Pineapple Suite
This 3,000 sq ft suite is a penthouse that will make you feel like you are living under the sea with Spongebob himself! The master suite has a spa-inspired bathroom with a rain shower and double sinks. Comfortably sleeping 2 adults and 5 children(or 2 adults and 3 teens) – this suite also has its own private 710 sq ft ocean-front terrace with lounge furniture and an infinity plunge pool that spans the length of the suite.

The Lair Suite
If you or your kids love the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – this 3,000 sq ft penthouse suite is for you! Just like the Pineapple suite, it comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 5 children(or 2 adults and 3 teens) and also has its own private terrace with an infinity plunge pool that spans the length of the suite. It has a family-friendly living space complete with a dining room with a table for 6, a murphy bed, double sofa bed and even smart TV.

Náay Spa
Náay Spa follows ancient Mayan principles of balancing the four elements – Earth, Fire, Water and Air. This 4,200 sq ft spa includes a lounge, couples massages, steam rooms and a beauty spa. It’s okay to send the kids over to the kids club for a couple hours while mom and dad get pampered at the spa!
