Juan Antonio Garza, director of Zofemat, explained their purpose: “These ATVs will be used for surveillance and support in the sargassum cleanup.” This shows a commitment to maintaining the beaches – another crucial aspect of Tulum’s appeal – alongside improving infrastructure like the beach road.
