The busiest seasons for tourism in Cancun are just around the corner, and hotel prices go up considerably during the winter and spring months.

December is the month when Cancun starts to get busy again, as Americans and Canadians looking to escape the cold of winter start arriving at the destination.
This is when prices will begin to rise significantly and will stay high for the following few months.
High season ends after spring break, and the Easter holiday is over, right around the end of April.
It isn’t until summer that Cancun and other Mexican Caribbean vacation destinations will start to pick up again.
