Cancun is a perfect place for vacations, and it seems that after restrictions have been lifted and travel is booming in the state, huge festivals are selling out very quickly, and things are starting to get back to normal.
Some unique festivals and shows are taking place in the region of Cancun thought the year, and here are some more unmissable opportunities for those who love to party hard or appreciate some low-key music shows.
Etheridge Island
For the fans of the world-renowned artist Melissa Etheridge, this is the festival for you! This week will include three concerts with different setlists, photos, and activities with her, plus some other headliners like Ani DiFranco, Delta Rae, Wynonna, Larkin Poe, Antigone Rising, and Jackie Venson. Everything is included in the price, from drinks and food to relaxing activities such as relaxation, wellness, meditation, and many other low-key exercises.
When: August 30th to September 5th

Ticket prices: The only available tickets for sale are all-inclusive ones for the week. Prices range from $2100 to 9000.
Caloncho / Pandora and Flams
These are two different concerts, but both are more low-key than the other all-inclusive resort events. Both are smaller but equally good. The first one is from a Mexican artist called Caloncho, a reggae-oriented singer with rock and pop spices mixing some local Mexican music. He is a renowned and creative singer with three recorded albums and many singles and eps. The second one is Pandora, a trio of female singers formed in 1985. They enjoyed great success through the 80s and the 90s with their Latin pop sound, and with 18 recorded albums, it makes them a special guest in Cancun.
When: Caloncho will happen on October 7th and Pandora on October 22th.
Where: Caloncho will be at Auditorio STOA, Cancun, Mexico. And Pandora will be at Plaza de Toros de Cancún. Av. Bonampak y Calle Sayil, Col. Centro 77500.

We Are Mexico
This is another all-inclusive house music festival for party-goers. This one is an entire seven-day event with many house music headliners, including MK, SecondCity, Jamie Jones, Eats Everything, Hannah Wants, Loco Dice, Solardo, Low Steppa, Lee Foss, Weiss, and many many more. The event will also host excursions on ziplines into the forest, throbbing pool parties, local tours, and so many other activities that you definitely never get tired of things to do.
When: November 19-26
Where: Grand Oasis Cancún, Cancun, Mexico

Ticket prices: standard hotels for £929 ($1.117); premium for £1.019 ($1225) and luxury for £1.799 ($2164). All tickets are for the all-inclusive package.
Only The Wild Ones Weekend 2022
This festival is something else! It’s an entire weekend in an all-inclusive resort, with all sorts of activities during the day and night. Some of the lineup artists are O.A.R., Dispatch, Guster, G. Love, Leilani Wolfgramm, and Amythyst Kiah. The tickets are valid for the whole weekend, with access to 4 days of music, with all you can eat and drink (including cocktails), and much more in a luxury resort a very short walking distance from the beach. Once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
When: December 2-6
Where: Sapphire Resort & Spa, Puerto Morelos, Mexico

Danny Ocean
Last but not least, it’s not a music festival itself, but this artist’s name is already enough to be a mega event. Danny began his career in 2009 but enjoyed worldwide success in 2009 with his enormous 2016 single “Me Rehúso,” with over 1 billion and 200 million plays on Spotify. His style blends elements of Reggaeton, dance-pop, Moombahton, and Latin Pop, and with over 17 million monthly listeners, this makes a special event to enjoy in Cancun this summer.
When: September 8th
