Cancun, a beach vacation paradise, is filled with sprawling all-inclusive resorts and luxury hotels, and the destination’s popularity keeps them pretty full.
The destination’s growth doesn’t seem like it’s going to slow down anytime soon, either, so well-known hotel brands are betting on Cancun and opening new resorts regularly.
The most recent are two new luxury Hyatt Cancun resorts that are now accepting reservations for April.
Two Hotels – One Brand – One Amazing Property
The two new Hyatt Hotels that will be opening are part of Hyatt’s All-Inclusive Collection.
They include the Hyatt Vivid Grand Island and the Dreams Grand Island resorts.
The two properties will both be located within a new development called Grand Island Cancun.
Reservations are now being taken for the first of these properties, Hyatt Vivid Grand Island, for dates starting April 1st.
Grand Island Cancun
The Grand Island complex will not only feature these two luxurious, amenity-filled all-inclusives, but many amenities of its own.
In addition to the area’s largest convention center, Grand Island will have its own water park, lagoon complete with a cinema, a sports center, a beach club, a shopping center, several outdoor and rooftop pools, tennis courts, a surf pool, and its own marina.
Additionally, the property will also have a collection of multiple restaurants and bars.
The Location
If the amenities weren’t already enough to entice travelers to the new Grand Island Cancun resort complex, the location might be the icing on the cake that draws them in.
Located within the tourist hotspot of the Cancun Hotel Zone, it’s conveniently only steps away from the popular Playa Delfines, or Dolphin Beach.
Situated between the stunning Nichupte Lagoon and the Caribbean Sea, visitors and guests at Grand Island Cancun will be treated to amazing views and scenery thanks to its perfect location.
Hyatt Vivid Grand Island
The Hyatt Vivid Grand Island is a massive adult-only resort featuring 400 spacious accommodations.
Guests who stay at the new Hyatt Vivid will be the first to enjoy this new brand that boasts an elevated all-inclusive experience that focuses on flexibility, comfortability, and endless amenities.
The resort features 11 restaurants, six bars, and three pools, and guests can enjoy daily entertainment and activities and 24-hour room and concierge services.
Dreams Grand Island
The even bigger Dreams Grand Island resort is a family-friendly resort featuring more than 600 accommodations.
While this property seems to be still in the works, guests can expect the same level of service and amenities that guests at the Hyatt Vivid property will enjoy.
Plus, guests will have access to all of the Grand Island amenities.
The Hyatt Brand
The Hyatt Brand consists of ten different hotel collections and more than 1,200 hotels spread across six continents and 75 countries.
Some of the well-known Hyatt hotel brands include Grand Hyatt, Park Hyatt, Breathless Resorts & Spas, Secrets Resorts & Spas, Impressions by Secrets, Dreams Resorts & Spas, Hyatt Ziva, and Hyatt Zilara.
The company is also introducing the new Hyatt Vivid brand with this first property in Cancun.
Other Hyatt Hotels In Cancun
Cancun is already home to several Hyatt properties, many of which are part of the popular all-inclusive collection.
They are spread out throughout the Cancun Hotel Zone, giving guests plenty of options regarding both brand and location.
Some of the most popular Hyatt hotels in and around Cancun are the Hyatt Ziva Cancun, Dreams Vista Cancun Golf & Spa Resort, Secrets The Vine Cancun, Secrets Playa Mujeres Golf & Spa Resort, and Hyatt Ziva Riviera.
