The Yucatan Playa del Carmen All-Inclusive Resort, Tapestry by Hilton
The first of the Tapestry Collection to offer All-Inclusive stays, this new Hilton hotel on Playa del Carmen’s shopping and entertainment street of Fifth Avenue opened in May 2021. First reported by The Cancun Sun back in June, the Yucatan Playa del Carmen Tapestry by Hilton is an adults-only resort, where guests are invited to jump right into all that the area has to offer.
Rooms and suites here are neutral and relaxing, and when it comes to food, everyone’s impressed with the hotel’s varied dining options, including the signature Japanese-Peruvian restaurant.
Seconds from Playa del Carmen’s varied nightlife and beach club scene, you won’t get bored of this location. But equally, if you’re ready to chill out, you can enjoy the hotel’s Olympic-size rooftop pool, or take advantage of the sister hotel’s private beach and leisure facilities nearby.
Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla
Opened in 2020, this hotel sits in the mid-section of the action-packed Cancun Hotel Zone between the Caribbean ocean and the Nichupte Lagoon, views of which can be enjoyed from the rooftop pool. It’s great for shoppers, as it’s within easy walking distance of La Isla Shopping Center. Also only a few minutes away is La Gran Rueda, a 177-foot tall big wheel with spectacular views over the surroundings.
Rooms and suites at Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla are appealing, with a modern and calming vibe. In a nice touch, custom headboards have been incorporated into rooms reflecting the jungles and cenotes surrounding Cancun.
This is Hilton’s only Canopy hotel in the Mexican Caribbean and it has been specifically designed to offer ‘a local experience with uncomplicated comforts and surprising extras that help you relax and revive.’
Mexican Caribbean Hilton Resorts: Coming Soon
Hilton Cancun, an All-Inclusive Resort
The brand new Hilton Cancun All-Inclusive Resort will open in November 2021. It’s located behind a mangrove preserve around twenty minutes from Cancun’s Hotel Zone. But with facilities this good, you’ll have no reason to leave.
On a 100-acre beachfront plot, rooms here are set to be bright and fresh, with swim-up options available. There will be 12 dining options to choose from, including an open-fire grill experience, specialty Mexican dishes, a taqueria serving all manner of tacos, Mediterranean food, South East Asia, Sushi…the list goes on. Finishing the hotel off are two swimming pools, a fitness center, and a spa.
Waldorf Astoria Cancun
Offering a super high-end option in Cancun will be the Waldorf Astoria Cancun, set to open in May 2022. This highly anticipated hotel will offer 150 luxury rooms, which look to be sleek, bright, and mostly white, with attractive textures and patterns added for interest.
Located south of Cancun Airport and the Hotel Zone, the hotel is being developed on 100 acres of prime beachfront, close to Hilton’s other new hotel, the Hilton Cancun.
The sophisticated hotel will offer 5 bars and restaurants, including a fine dining experience and a seafood specialty restaurant. There will also be pools, a fitness center, and a signature spa.
