Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancún – All Inclusive

Currently #8 in the Top 10 Cancun Hotels on Tripadvisor, this luxury resort places you right in the heart of the action. It’s by no means cheap, but the quality, service, and location make it worth every dollar.   

Benefitting from the shelter of Isla Mujeres, the ocean at this resort is eminently calm and swimmable. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, ranging from 50 square meters to over 550 square meters of party pad in the four-bedroom penthouse suite. Grand Club rooms also enjoy the benefits of the Grand Club floor, which includes a private penthouse lounge, club concierge, food presentations, and The Grand Beach Club and Sundeck.

Hyatt Ziva Cancun

The Hyatt Ziva Cancun is found right in the crease of the famous Cancun-7, arguably the best spot in the Zona Hotelera. Marketing itself as ‘a playful family escape’, this hotel equally caters to adults looking for comfort and relaxation, and kids looking for fun and adventure. 

All 547 suites are built around a calm and neutral base color with accent shades throughout the rooms. Each has a balcony overlooking the glorious Caribbean ocean and comes stocked with soft drinks and beer. When it comes to food, Hyatt Ziva guests can select from 17 bars, lounges, and restaurants, including a microbrewery, a diner, and a French specialty restaurant.

Krystal Cancun

Krystal Cancun is a great option for visitors looking to be close to the nightlife, but without paying the premium price tag. Found in a beautiful beachfront location on Playa Gaviota Azul, the many restaurants, clubs, and shows of Punta Cancun are right on the doorstep. 

Most of the 502 rooms here have a balcony and ocean views. Standard rooms are basic but comfortable, whereas Club Krystal rooms offer those little extra luxuries. There are ample restaurants and bars to choose from here, with the Mexican restaurant hosting daily Mariachi shows. There’s also a kids club to keep the little ones entertained, while grown-ups can enjoy the beauty salon and spa at their leisure.   

From Krystal Cancun to Mandala Cancun, it’s a 4-minute walk.

Ocean Dream Cancun by GuruHotel

The big-wave beach of Playa Chacmool is home to Ocean Dream Cancun by GuruHotel. The 70 rooms are bright and inviting, and range from the standard Lagoon-view suites to the stunning Diamond two-level suite with an ocean view. 

In terms of facilities, visitors can enjoy the pleasant grounds with Jacuzzi and two infinity pools, as well as direct beach access. There is also a restaurant with daily specialties, a bar, and a beach club.

Le Blanc Spa Resort All Inclusive Adults Only

For all-out luxury, many visitors turn to one of the Zona Hotelera’s prime hotels – and currently rated #2 on Tripadvisor – the Le Blanc Spa Resort. The hotel has cleverly used the pandemic as an opportunity for a complete renovation, providing guests with a premier adults-only luxury experience.

The on-site spa is an indulgent treat for the senses, and the personalized butler service can’t fail to impress. Add to that the varied gourmet dining options available, the classically stylish yet modern rooms, and the five bars each offering a different atmosphere, and you’ve got all the ingredients for the perfect resort. Headed back to a more moderately-priced hotel, we find ourselves next door to Le Blanc, at the Sunset Royal Beach Resort. Benefitting from the same beach and walkable distance from the entertainment zone but at a fraction of the price, you can begin to see the appeal of this property. 

There are 202 classic and comfortable suites, many overlooking the bright Caribbean waves outside. The hotel offers daytime entertainment including yoga, dance classes, and volleyball, and evening shows in the onsite theater. There are also 3 restaurants and a bar, and guests can also use the facilities at sister resort Sunset Marina Resort & Yacht Club.  

From Sunset Royal Beach to La Vaquita Cancun, it’s a 12-minute walk.
