Beaches 

Known as ‘’playas,’’ Cancun is admired for its attractive beaches which consistently allure tourists. When seeking a memorable vacation in Cancun, tourists can visit the cities top beaches which feature crystal clear waters, frequent visitors, and beautiful views.

Historic Sites

Sightseeing at the famous Mayan Ruins of Chichén Itzá is common among visitors. The attraction is one of Mexico’s largest and best-restored archaeological sites and features many famous Chac-mool statues and other infrastructures such as buildings, including the 30-meter-tall El Castillo, one of Mexico’s most famous pyramids. Chichén Itzá is about a two hour drive from Cancun.

Museums 

The Cancun Center is one of the city’s largest convention complexes which contains the Maya museum. The Maya Museum teaches visitors more about the region’s rich and profound history through the use of historical exhibits and artifacts. Overall around 350 artifacts that date back up to 14,000 years can be found throughout the three halls situated in the museum.

The sea based museum known as The Cancun Underwater Museum is dedicated to man-made artworks that are located underwater and require visitors to dive into for exploration. More than 500 sculptures are spread across two underwater galleries, located at depths between three and six meters deep. Guided snorkeling and diving tours are available in order to accommodate tourists with fun, guided underwater exploration.

Marine Life

Interact with the city’s marine life through Cancun’s Interactive Aquarium, which offers flippers and snorkels for visitors to use in order to witness numerous species in a safe and measured process. Activities such as swimming with dolphins and sea creature petting are included to give visitors a huge glimpse of the sea world.
