Cancun had over 30 million visitors last year, breaking an all-time record for the tourist destination.
To keep up with the growing demand, multiple airlines have increased their frequency of flights to and from Cancun International Airport.
And since the momentum has not slowed down, airlines continue to add routes to Cancun, particularly from the United States, and now four major U.S. cities are getting new direct flights to Cancun this winter.
The Four New U.S. To Cancun Routes
Two of the new routes to begin this winter will be offered by both American Airlines and Delta.
The other two will be provided by just American Airlines.
Those four routes are Cincinnati to Cancun, Pittsburgh to Cancun, Nashville to Cancun, and Raleigh to Cancun.
Information for each of these new routes, which will be offered from mid-December until the end of March, will be highlighted below.

Cincinnati-Cancun Route
The new Cincinnati to Cancun route will be offered by both American Airlines and Delta.
There will be one weekly direct flight provided by each airline, both on Saturdays.
The American Airlines flight will depart from Cincinnati at 10:45 am and return from Cancun at 2:05 pm.
The Delta Airlines flight will depart from Cincinnati at 8:15 am and return from Cancun at 11:35 am.
Those flights are approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes long.

Pittsburgh-Cancun Route
The Pittsburgh to Cancun flight that will be offered this winter will be provided by American Airlines.
The direct flight to and from Cancun will be available every Saturday.
Departures from Pittsburgh will be at 8:00 am and the return flight from Cancun will leave at 12:45 pm.
The flight to Cancun is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes and the return flight to Pittsburgh is about 3 hours and 25 minutes.

Nashville-Cancun Route
The new Nashville to Cancun route will be offered by American Airlines as well.
Direct flights will be available on Saturdays, arriving and departing from both Nashville and Cancun.
The flight will take off from Pittsburgh at 9:45 am and depart from Cancun at 1:40 pm.
Both flights take around 2 hours and 55 minutes.

Raleigh-Cancun Route
Both American Airlines and Delta will operate new flights between Raleigh and Cancun this winter.
Departing and returning flights will be available on Saturdays.
The American Airlines flight will depart from Raleigh at 10:00 am and return from Cancun at 2:29 pm.
The Delta flight will also leave Raleigh at 10:00 am and will depart from Cancun at 2:15 pm.
Flights departing from Raleigh will last about 3 hours and 20 minutes and return flights are approximately 3 hours.

Delta Offers Two New Routes To Cozumel From U.S.
In addition to new routes to Cancun, Delta will also be operating two new routes to Cozumel from U.S. cities.
These two new routes will be between Cozumel and Atlanta and Cozumel and Minneapolis.
The Atlanta route will run every day from early November through early May and the Minneapolis route will run twice a week, on Saturdays and Mondays, from mid-December through early April.

Canadian Airlines Offering More Routes To Cancun And Cozumel Too
Cancun and Cozumel are popular vacation destinations for Canadian travelers too, especially in the winter.
WestJet will have two weekly direct flights from Hamilton, Ontario to Cancun from December 9 – April 17.
Air Canada will also be offering one weekly direct flight between Montreal, Quebec and Cozumel on Mondays starting October 30th through April 29 and on Tuesdays from May 7th through June 25th.
