Visiting Playa Del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, only about an hour from Cancun Airport, has long been a popular Mexican Caribbean vacation destination and continues to grow in popularity.

It’s home to beautiful beaches, a more laid-back vibe than larger destinations like Cancun, great nightlife, and amazing coral reefs that bring snorkelers and divers from all over the world.

And only a boat ride away from Playa del Carmen, visitors can also explore the island paradise of Cozumel too.

Getting To The Mexican Caribbean

Cancun International Airport services millions of passengers every year, not only because Cancun is the most popular destination in the Mexican Caribbean but because there are so many other destinations too.

Currently, it is the main hub for visitors traveling to any of these destinations, with massive international connectivity, particularly from the U.S.

But come December, when the Maya Train is completed, travel in the Mexican Caribbean will forever be changed, and getting to these places will be even easier.
