Travelers planning their summer 2024 vacation to Cancun may need to rethink the accommodation they are planning to book.
This comes from the huge announcement that a completely new luxury brand will be opening its doors to travelers.
AIC Hotel Group, one of the pioneers of the all-inclusive vacation model over 30 years ago, is launching their new AVA all-inclusive brand, and the first resort to open its doors under this new brand could only ever be in one place, beautiful Cancun.
AVA Resort Cancun
Opening its doors on June 27th, 2024, this hotly anticipated new resort brand has the competition ruffled thanks to its truly impressive offerings to travelers.
Set just a 15-minute drive from Cancun International Airport; it will be the most conveniently located luxury resort in the whole of the Mexican Caribbean.
Furthermore, its location is highly exclusive, with no other large resorts within earshot, allowing for travelers to experience the true tranquility of this beautiful corner of Mexico.
However, travelers shouldn’t be turned off by its location outside of the Hotel Zone, the journey into the super-popular entertainment and party hotspots found in the Hotel Zone can take as little as 8 minutes.
In fact, the Hotel Zone is so long that the new AVA Resort Cancun, with its exclusive location, is a closer journey to the Hotel Zone’s delights than many of the resorts actually in the Hotel Zone itself.
No Need To Pay For A Sea View
Travelers won’t need to fork out extra to enjoy a sea view at the AVA Resort Cancun, this brand-new resort was designed from the ground up to provide every single guest with stunning views of the Caribbean Sea.
A Focus On Taste
A vacation to Mexico is never complete without eating delicious food each night of the stay. This expectation is being knocked out of the park at the new AVA Resort Cancun, with 17 bars & restaurants.
Regarding the restaurants, these will be split into two categories at the resort, with destination-beating fine dining playing a huge role in the allure of staying here.
Included in the fine dining category are:
- Aji – A modern Peruvian restaurant
- Black Iron – A high-end steak and seafood grill
- Chez Moi – A classic Parisian bistro
- Veranda – An Italian restaurant that could make a Roman blush
And many more!
On top of the huge range of fine dining options, the AVA Resort Cancun will also provide more down-to-earth and homely options.
These include:
- The Food District – Offering snacks and mini-dishes from across the world
- Plaza Mx – A more relaxed Mexican cuisine offering specializing in snacks
- Aroma Café – With super coffee and handmade pastries
- Konos Ice Cream – A flavorful collection of ice cream perfect to cool the Caribbean heat
Destination Level Entertainment
One of the most common complaints among travelers to the Mexican Caribbean is the limited entertainment offerings.
This is no surprise, with so many bars and nightclubs across the area it hasn’t been a huge necessity in the past, although there are plenty of resorts that offer fantastic on-site entertainment.
With that being said, compared even to the resorts that take entertainment seriously, the AVA Resort Cancun is taking things to a whole new level.
Travelers will have, right on their doorstep, a classic speakeasy called Handsome Harry, a traditional Mexican cantina called Kantina 1953, a high-end cocktail bar serving up bespoke tipples, and of course multiple swim-up bars.
The big draw though is the 2 on-site nightclubs that will let travelers party throughout the night ending on a stunning Caribbean sunrise.
The bigger of these 2 clubs is the DEZ Nightclub, intended as an all-night spot with special events, a cocktail bar, and big plans for celebrity guest DJs; this will become one of the Mexican Caribbean’s hottest clubs.
Additionally, travelers can take a peak into the digital world at Digit, a proclaimed “NFT bar” that will feature curated NFT artwork and a tech-driven atmosphere.
