The opulent resort is currently undergoing a costly renovation that will transform it into a spectacular family-friendly property right in the heart of the Riviera Maya.

With the Mexican Caribbean trending as a child-friendly destination this year, here’s why Palladium’s newest property will be perfect for your next family holiday.

Palladium Aims To Transform The Family Vacation Experience

Set along the white-sand shores of the Riviera Maya, just south of Playa del Carmen, Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa was already one of the top-rated properties in the area before closing for renovation.

As the resort undergoes an extensive renovation over the summer, Palladium has revealed more exciting details about the ongoing makeover.

Taking note of the Riviera Maya’s growing popularity among families, Palladium wants to elevate the all-inclusive experience for travelers of all ages. Upon completion, the resort will join the Family Selection brand, which carefully balances relaxation with family fun.

On the face of it, that might not seem too different from what countless other resorts are offering. After all, the Mexican Caribbean is home to some of the world’s leading family-friendly resorts. But Palladium has big plans in store for its newest undertaking.

With a massive $40 million investment, Palladium is launching new exclusive areas for families alongside a highly personalized service that will create everlasting memories for the entire family.

Travelers will be able to enjoy thematic events from the comfort of their own room – such as movie nights – as well as new premium restaurants that are designed with younger travelers in mind. But adult guests will also be delighted with upgraded luxury amenities.

Palladium is also introducing new innovative elements to its offerings, such as the dinner and dance – a fusion of fine dining with entertainment – that will take the all-inclusive experience to the next level.

The leading hospitality firm wants to reconnect families after the struggles of pandemic-induced restrictions. Commenting on the ongoing revamp of the 5-star resort, Jesus Zalvidea, Palladium’s head of operations for the Americas, said the following:

“During the pandemic, a lot of people were separated from their loved ones due to lockdowns and other restrictions. This separation has generated a deep desire to be close to one another again and to rejoice in being together,” the executive said.

A Leading High-End Property

Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa is a truly remarkable property that draws on the Riviera Maya’s rich Mayan culture and abundant nature.

Natural elements can be found throughout the 422-room property, creating an inviting environment for the whole family.

Meanwhile, 6 outdoor pools – including shallow ones – and an on-site waterpark offer plenty of fun for younger travelers. But adult travelers can also find an abundance of secluded and intimate areas for a peaceful retreat.
