JetBlue has become the latest airline to announce its expansion to Tulum International Airport, launching its service from New York’s John F. Kennedy International.

The airline is set to begin operations next year, where it will operate daily from June 13th, 2024.

David Jehn, vice president of network planning and airline partnerships at JetBlue, stated:

“With the new international airport in Tulum, we are able to bring our customers where they want to go, arriving and departing in a brand new, modern, and convenient airport facility while offering the great service and low fares JetBlue is known for”.

Tulum International will be the fourth destination in Mexico for JetBlue, joining the other popular destinations of Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, flying not only from New York but also Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Los Angeles, Tampa, Newark and Raleigh.

The List Of Airlines Flying To Tulum

JetBlue joins the many other popular airlines traveling to the new airport, with Delta Airlines, United Airlines, American Airlines, and Spirit Airlines all bidding to catch the most passengers looking to travel to the trendy, upcoming destination.

Tulum International Airport is expected to welcome a staggering five million passengers yearly and is set to take off some of the heat from the hugely popular Cancun International Airport, which has become increasingly busy over the years.
