There are few destinations around the world that can match the Riviera Maya when it comes to the diversity and range of all-inclusive resorts available.

With the region growing in popularity year after year, more and more hotels and resorts are popping up all over the place to ensure that the supply can keep up with demand.

With that in mind, some hotels are getting creative when it comes to deals and promotions to woo prospective customers – and that’s precisely what this Riviera Maya resort is looking to do later this year.

The Palladium Hotel Group is looking to make dramatic changes to one of its stunning Riviera Maya resorts later this year in a bid to stand out from the crowd, adding its Family Selection brand to its existing Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort and Spa.

What’s more is that it will allow children to stay alongside adults for free, a move that will make it one of the most sought-after family resorts in the region. Here’s what we know about the Palladium Hotel Group’s exciting development in the Riviera Maya.

Kids Stay Free – Information For Travelers

The Grand Palladium Riviera Maya is a popular, well-known resort in the region, situated just thirty minutes from the popular resort towns of Playa Del Carmen and Tulum and a short 90-minute drive from the hustle and bustle of Cancun.

Having been operating in the region for more than 20 years now, the Grand Palladium is looking to make changes that will see them reestablish itself among the newer, more modern hotels in the Mexican Caribbean – and its Family Selection development could be the answer.

At the end of the year, Grand Palladium will be opening the new Family Selection development at its Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa location, one of several resorts that make up the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya complex.

This will be the third Family Selection concept location in Mexico, with the brand already in operation at the Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres Resort & Spa and Grand Palladium Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa.

Revealing more information about the development, Javier Polanco, Cluster Director for Palladium Hotel Group in Mexico, said:

“We are remodeling the Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort & Spa complex to offer our premium accommodation concept designed especially for families seeking luxury amenities, concepts, and experiences. Family Selection will be available for the last quarter of this year and will offer 170 rooms”.

Along with 170 beachfront rooms, the new Family Selection development will also feature top-quality amenities available only for families, including private pools and dining experiences, a VIP games area, and a separate check-in area, as well as access to all the other features at the Grand Palladium Kantenah Resort & Spa – including its stunning spa and its several gastronomic eating options.

However, there’s one perk that is set to catch the eye of prospective guests more than any other.

As is typical with Family Selection resorts, those staying under the Family Selection umbrella at Grand Palladium Riviera Maya Resort will be able to include two kids in their stay for free – potentially saving travelers hundreds of dollars.

Eligible for all children under the age of 17, it’s a perk that’s likely to make the resort a popular choice for families and reaffirms the brand’s commitment to promoting Mexico as a top family destination for both domestic and international travelers.

Family trips are culturally relevant… These travelers are looking for a quiet place to enjoy their time, recreation, food, drinks, and value when the hotel has entertainment teams and special attention for children,” added Javier Polanco.

Work on the development is scheduled to begin this April, with Family Selection expected to be taking guests as early as the last quarter of this year.
