The New Maya Train
Now, Americans not only have the option to pick Cancun as the main base for their vacation but also have the opportunity to explore far and beyond it as well, thanks to the new Maya Train.
Transport throughout the Mexican Caribbean and the Yucatan Peninsula is quickly becoming easier than ever, with the train system traveling through extremely popular tourist destinations like Chichen Itza and the ‘Magical Towns’ like Valladolid and Izamal.
In the past, these places would have once only been reachable by expensive transfers or by a less reliable public bus route.
Now, for prices that are cheaper than using the bus, the Maya Train will practically take you anywhere once the entire route is done in February.
Safe Choice For Tourists
Americans also want safety when picking their vacation destination of choice, and though some will be wary of Mexico due to it often appearing in U.S. headlines for being unsafe, that is certainly not the case for Cancun.
