It’s Quick And Easy To Get To The Island
After arriving at Cancun Airport you’ll have to take some form of transportation to one of the ferry docks in Cancun.
There are three different companies that operate Isla Mujeres ferries.
From there it is only a 15-20 minute ride to the island.
Ferry prices vary depending on the company, but tickets range from about $10-$15 each way.

Isla Mujeres Is Getting More And More Popular
Another reason to book your trip to Isla Mujeres now is because it continues to grow in popularity.
If 90 percent occupancy is reached, it’s a significant increase compared to occupancy levels in 2020, which despite the pandemic were still between 30-40 percent.

In the last few years numerous new hotels have been opened in Isla Mujeres.
This gives you the opportunity to stay at some nearly brand-new hotels, which means they’ll be fresh, cleaner, and more modern than ones that have been open for some time.
Two of the newest are the adult-only, all-inclusive Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets, which opened in July 2022, and Enigmatic Beach Hotel, which opened in June of this year.

No Sargassum On The Beaches Of Isla Mujeres
Currently there is little to no sargassum seaweed on Isla Mujeres’ beaches because sargassum season is over.
But even during sargassum season, the beaches in Isla Mujeres are known for having less sargassum than most other Mexican Caribbean beaches.
Specifically, Playa Norte typically has very little sargassum present, even during the height of sargassum season.
