Complete with a swim-up pool, you can enjoy the live DJs mixing the best tunes all day while sipping on their signature cocktails. There’s bottle service as well if you’re bringing a big party with you!

The Reef 28 Rooftop Bar

Located just a block from Playa Mamitas, a sundowner at The Reef 28 might just be what you need after a day at the beach.
The rooftop at this adults-only luxury hotel is your go-to lounge (hello, infinity pool!) by day and hip rooftop bar and club by night. If you’re not staying at the hotel, there’s a minimum spend of 500 pesos (food and/or drink) during the week and 700 pesos from Friday to Sunday.

Right in the heart of things in Playa’s Gonzalo Guerrero neighborhood is the Be Roof. Located on the fifth floor of the Be Playa Hotel, you can come here for a day chill or in the evening to enjoy tasty cocktails and amazing views with your friends. The rooftop is open from 10 am to 11 pm, and the pool is available from 10-8 pm for non-hotel guests.
The minimum spend here is on the lower end at 300 pesos, so you can still enjoy the rooftop if you’re traveling on a budget. There’s a pretty extensive menu of a mix of signature and classic cocktails, not to mention some refreshing smoothies.
Deck 5 Pool and Skybar
Calle 8 Nte 876, Centro, Playa del Carmen
Set in the WE Uniq Hotel, the Deck 5 Pool and Skybar is one of the best rooftop bars in Playa del Carmen.
The property is right along the beach, so you’ll be treated to sweeping views of the water (not to mention that calming Caribbean sea breeze) while sipping your margarita.

Head to Centro, and you’ll find one of the best rooftop experiences in town at the Fives.
Set on the sixth floor of The Fives Hotel Downtown Playa del Carmen, this stylish rooftop is complete with an infinity pool and great cocktails to boot, not to mention the restaurant on-site that serves up a mix of international and Mediterranean cuisines.
