The Maya Train is one of the most exciting tourism projects to come to the Mexican Caribbean and even the whole world in decades.

A nearly 1,000-mile-long intercity railway is revolutionizing the way tourists are experiencing this already incredible destination south of the U.S.

This massive project connects popular destinations like Cancun, Tulum, Chetumal, and more, offering travelers an incredible and unique experience in this exceptional slice of the world.

Cost

Current costs for the route running from Cancun to Campeche are:

  • $67.86 for Tourist Class
  • $108.37 for Premier Class

Once the train becomes fully operational, prices will be set at 4.35 pesos per kilometer (.25 cents per kilometer) for international travelers.
