The Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres
The Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres, which will be located in the exclusive Playa Mujeres development, is estimated to open in early 2025.
It will be the largest Excellence-branded resort in the Caribbean.
The adults-only property is sure to be super luxurious, and, according to Domingo Aznar, The Excellence Collection’s Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will be a “new haven of luxurious relaxation for adults only.”

The Resort Property
The massive Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres property will be located on a beautiful white sand beach.
Located directly across from Isla Mujeres, it is in a more secluded part of Cancun.
The location will provide guests with sweeping Caribbean Sea views for as far as the eye can see, the one amenity that so many travelers visit Cancun for.

Resort Amenities
While all of the major details of the resort have yet to be announced, there have been some details revealed.
The resort is expected to have spacious suites with premium bars, jacuzzis, terraces, and private pools in some of them.
Additionally, it has been revealed that there will be 12 bars, 11 dining options, a private wine connoisseur’s space, a spa, and multiple pools on the property.

Dining At Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres
With 11 dining options, you can expect a wide variety of options to choose from, giving guests something different to try each night of their stay.
Aside from a must-have authentic Mexican restaurant, the only other dining concept that has been revealed is a Greek and Levantine-inspired restaurant.
There has also been mention of an interactive dining experience that will be available to guests as well.

The Excellence Brand In Cancun
The Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres is not the only Excellence-branded resort in the Mexican Caribbean, or in Cancun, or even in the Playa Mujeres development.

Playa Mujeres is a double-gated community that sits directly across from the stunning island of Isla Mujeres.
