Cozumel has long been a popular vacation destination that continues to grow in popularity, and this has been a good year for the vacation destination.
Cozumel Airport has seen growth in passengers this year, and it has led to a number of airlines starting to offer service to international airports.
One of those airlines is Delta, which is launching flights to this idyllic island near Cancun this winter.
Delta’s New Cozumel Flights
Delta Airlines will begin offering service to Cozumel from Minneapolis on December 16th, and the flights will be available through April 8, 2024.
Nonstop flights will be offered on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays between those dates.
These flights are returning after Delta took a three-year hiatus from offering them, but they are now back by popular demand.

Sample Ticket Prices For The New Flights
Airline ticket prices vary considerably based on several different factors that play a role in pricing.
Some sample prices will give you at least some idea of what you might pay for this new Delta flight to Cozumel, though.
For most dates in January and February, roundtrip ticket prices currently run for between around $429 and $527.
Prices go up a bit in March for some dates due to spring break, but there are still some tickets in that price range.
There are also dates in March on which ticket prices get as high as $924.

Cozumel International Airport
Cozumel Airport is an international airport, but much smaller than Cancun Airport, which many can appreciate.
While Cancun Airport serves millions of passengers every month, in November, Cozumel Airport served just under 40,000.
The airport does have everything you need, though, including a couple of dining and shopping options, transportation service providers, and even a VIP airport lounge.

There are currently four other airlines that offer flights from the U.S. to Cozumel.
Between those and the flights offered by Delta, flights are available from 10 different U.S. cities.

Getting From Cozumel Airport To Your Hotel
Cozumel might be a smaller airport, but there is no shortage of options for getting from the airport to your hotel.
Taxis are available, but you never know what the rate will be until you get into the taxi because the rate changes depending on the season and your destination.
There are also shuttles available, as well as private transportation.

Cozumel has a good mix of accommodation options despite its relatively small size.
You’ll find quite a few all-inclusive resorts, as well as traditional and boutique hotels.
