It’s a black and white slithering slide that’s going to be delighting Mexican Caribbean theme park enthusiasts visiting the popular adventure park of Xplor in the Riviera Maya.
The Togobanxote
It’s the new bucket list attraction at Xplor by Xcaret, an adventure theme park perfect for families visiting Cancun and the Riviera Maya for their beach resort vacation getaway.
Open just in time for the peak Spring Break holiday travel season, the Togobanxote is a one of a kind five in one water slide adventure that transports tourists through the jungle in a wild maze of curves and drops unlike anything riders have ever seen before.
“The new water attraction is the very definition of pure adventure, offering the fun and excitement of an entire water park in one attraction, said an Xcaret spokesperson in a recent report about the new attraction. “Visitors can get on board a raft for four people and prepare for a dizzying descent from 41 meters high.”
It’s a ride that combines all of the many amazing features of water slides into one exciting raft water adventure.
Breaking Down the Ride
Tourists start the more than 1,000-foot ride high in the jungle at the Sphere.
Winding around the Sphere, visitors are then dumped into the half-wave.
The energy builds in the half wave as travelers rapidly gain speed on their raft before arriving in the whirlpool.
Round and round the raft goes as the raft continues into the strong Whirlwind, picking up even more speed in a dizzying fury.
The anticipation builds in the final twist of the Togobanxote before the raft full of excited travelers is shot out into a large wave pool with a tremendous splash.
More to Xplor
The Togobanxote water raft adventure is the latest attraction at the Mexican Caribbean adventure park, which offers plenty of rides and amenities for every family member.
Along with rides, tourists can enjoy traditional Riviera Maya family activities such as rivers, grottoes, and underground caverns, which provide an opportunity for adventure and learning about the fragile environment of the region in one unique location.
The TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice 2023 destination also features a very popular jungle-style adventure—what it claims are the tallest zip lines in Playa del Carmen and the Riviera Maya.
The other experiences available for tourists include an underground expedition, amphibious vehicle excursions, a hammock zip line, and even a stalactite river swim.
A family of four can purchase the Xlplor All Inclusive package for two adults and two children for about $425 dollars with a 21-day advance purchase.
The Xplor Fuego evening admission is also available, priced at about $360 dollars for two adults and two children with a 21-day advance purchase.
What Travelers Need to Know
The new ride adds to the excitement tourists can enjoy at the Xplor Adventure Park. Designed for families, the theme park can provide a fun break from the beaches for families seeking a little bit more adventure in the beach resort vacation getaway to the Mexican Caribbean.
While Xcaret considers the adventure park an all-inclusive adventure, the tickets are pretty steep for many families heading to the area. However, they are similar to what one would pay to visit a popular theme park in the United States, such as Disneyland.
The more rides and attractions Xplor continues to add to the adventure themed water park definitely provides more added value for tourists with children looking for an adventure to enjoy together while on vacation in the Mexican Caribbean.
With so many different adult attractions to enjoy in Cancun and in the Riviera Maya it’s great to have a place where families can come together to enjoy a vacation getaway.
